ISBAS was established on 21.01.1991 pursuant a Ministers Cabinet Decision No. 91/1409, within the boundaries of Çatalca, Istanbul on a specified 387,500 square meter land area. The project for the development of the Free Zone was initiated in February 1998.

    İstanbul Thrace Free Zone Inc. (ISBAS) is the first privately owned free zone development and operating firm in Turkey which offers the title deed ownership to its investors. ISBAS is aiming to play an important role in fostering the Turkish economy through the development of Free Zone Project offering spaces in 350,000 square meter covered areas, 2 large plazas, warehouses, open areas and high technology based infrastructural services.
